1. Hubby is home for the next week!!!! His traveling is a bit insane right now, but if there's anything normal in our lives, it's the lack of normality. Moving all over the world and constant traveling has always been a part of us, and this is just another "adventure", right? This adventure is a bit tougher because we're without him for so much, but we will just have a blast this next week and wait patiently until the next Daddy time. Over the next week, we may hit up a music festival, go to the farmer's market, sleep in all together in our family bed, sit around a lot, cook out, and have a family run. I can't wait!
2. I'm giddy because I'm getting closer and closer to my fundraising goal for Endure to Cure! I've got $354 raised so far, out of my goal of $500 by race time! For every $500, I can grant an adorable little kiddo with cancer a "small wish" to give them a little chunk of happiness in their hard times. I'm super stoked that I'm getting such a great response from friends and family, and I will keep up my efforts throughout the year and on into my second full marathon (yes, I'm already planning it).

4. I know I said three things, but number four makes me smile. Yesterday on our jogger run, we stopped at our usual ending point by a pretty pond with turtles and ducks, and my daughter wanted to exercise. I invited her to do some pushup burpees with me, and she took the challenge. Once I was worn out and ready to stop, she said "Mommy, we're not done, we have eleven more!" There was no way I was going to let a four-year-old outdo me (yes, I'm that person), even after 8 miles, so I did it. And it hurt. And I looooved that she made me. This kid will be a major butt-kicker someday!
